Who are you to say this is B.S.? Clearly not an Armenian because you don’t seem to understand what the nation has gone through to be standing strong today. Since when is a mass killing of people something to forget? Because of the Turks, Armenians have had to endure pain and suffering. Believe me when I say that Armenians will never forget.

This is BS. Armenians should come to terms with their history and admit that they massacared 520.000 Turks after living side by side with Turks, when the Ottoman Emipre was wealend Armenians took adventage and trusted the Russians to gain their own province inside Turkey, like other ex soviet states,
no one just weake up one morning and kill their friends , accept the Armenians, they should be asame of themseves for killing only the weak women and children who was left behind while all strong Turks in the fronts figting the enmies 5 fronts armenians open a new front worst kind with in,They even sent man to Greek army Russian army

The author and her participants need to read a little book called The Prince to understand the role of power in forming international relations. The reality is that Armenia is the weaker party and it has been preyed on for more than 150 years. To convey our history to our children does not constitute the instillation of anger and hate. As usual, Blumfeld attacks the transmission of Armenian identity and champions un-reciprocated concessions on the part of Armenian people in the form of Armenians giving up on their quest for justice.

In the real world of warlike nation-states, what he is prescribing to Armenians is national suicide.

Let him talk like this about the Holocaust, and let us see how his community will respond.

I particularly love this from Adam Blumenfeld: “high-level government meetings strike him as being a parade of men in suits shaking hands in front of flags and getting nothing done.”

However, though I might agree with Kubra Ozguven’s observation that youth have “less preconceptions, less prejudice, youth is much more globalized and has a better understanding of the human experience,” it is an ironic statement to make following “now our 17-year-olds are getting up and killing people” because it shows that not all youth are less prejudiced as there are youth today who hold nationalist and xenophobic views.
