		<description><![CDATA[I would say that this problem of the treatment of animals occurs everywhere in some measure. 

Here in Canada recently a neighbour shot a (pet) dog through a window while members of the family were out. A four-year-old boy returned home with his father to find the dog lying dead on the kitchen floor.

I wonder when (or if) cruelty between humans and between humans and animals will ever end.

Thank you for the photographs though they are heartbreaking.
