This is amazing! I'm so happy to see Armenian people such as myself and every Armenian I know stand up AGAINST those disgusting gays. They are a shame to the world and especially to Armenians. It's disgusting and unnatural. I hope Boyadjian and whatever other Armenian or not Armenian enjoys the flames of hell for supporting those animals. I'm thankful I have never met a gay/lesbian Armenian and I hope I never do, I might spit in their face. The world we live in is becoming so disgusting, since when do men and men kiss each other and since when do women and women kiss each other? Men and women were put on this planet for many reasons and one big one is to recreate so our planet can keep growing and continuing, not stopping because our stupid world is accepting this sinful. If any Armenian accepts this then they are not real Armenians!

I read and understand what is going on. I am Armenian married to my wife this month. My parents both are hurt, when I first came out it was mainly I ran away. I talked with my father and all he said to me was; "I rather have you be dead than be lesbian." It hurt to me that all the years I have been pretending to be a picture perfect daughter to them, helped them out and treated them with such kindness and all I get from him is those words. When I returned home after breaking up with my ex. My mother was trying to get me to talk with my best friend and get us married. I disliked it because my best friend and I have been apart for long time and both of us have changed. Before heading out to Fresno, I talked with my mother and told her, "I am lesbian, I have told you. Every time I have been with a man I have been afraid to tell you because I know you would say; "If his not Armenian don't date." It has been hard for me to fall in love because of you...but every single men I'v been with I never got any spark...but when I see women...they brighten up my day especially my girlfriend. I can't hide who I am and who I love and I can't choose between love and family don't even try telling to choose sides." She told me she understood me and she wouldn't try anything to get me back. But after few days of telling her that I get a phone call; "Your father over heard us, he doesn't want to talk with you or see you. Why can't you just love men...have they treated you bad?" We kept on going back and forth with this endless conversation. About last month when I went to gather my stuff, she hovered over me, cried, and when I was done I gave her a hug and her words to me were; "If you need treatment or if both of you need treatment tell me and I will heal you two." I got irritated by this but I just said , "Okay." After that we only talk, I treat her as my mother friend because it hurts me how much she says she loves me but only the fake one not the real me. All I can say to every single person is; treat your child well love them no matter what, if you believe in God, let God take care of your child's punishments not you, all you can do is raise them and protect them from other peoples hatreds. Love everyone no matter what they are.

How sorry it is that people waste so many words and in reality say absolutely nothing worth knowing. Instead of wasting your time expressing unlettered opinions, I would suggest you to educate yourself and be a thinking person. What a shame that instead of seeking knowledge you stick to being conformist. What has the subject matter got to do with your notion of god? If you are not able to think for yourself, read literature of thinking people. If you do not like to read European thinkers, at least read 'Barouyr Sevak.' Good luck

Amen to that! This was by far the most rational comment so far. The one thing I would add is that sexuality is fluid. You think you know who you are and where you stand, but it may change overnight, just like it did for me. I fell in love with a girl that had a soul like none other. We've been together for 13 years now - and while we faced our own kind of tragedy of coming out to our parents, there is nothing, and I repeat NOTHING, that would make me reconsider my choice or live my life any other way. It's all about standing up for who you are and not allowing anyone, not even your family, tell you how you should be. One day all these angry and hateful comments will all be history - and that's my dream for Armenia.
