I remember from mu school days, as part of Armenian literature subject. Our teacher giving not only explanation but clarification of the times and events happening in historical Armenia and elsewhere.

Although the number of women writers are few in our literature, as times were not favourable. Unfortunately, the soviet era women writers could not fly like an eagle, but somehow flew like a nightingale. The responsibilities of keeping the broken families together was too heavy load on their shoulders.

Beautiful. It is as relevent to any issue or cause of today.
