"Also, how can you ask for a land, which was never officially ours. .There are still many of us living in different countries, so why not break up from U.S and make a free Armenian State there??”"

This comes from a Turk with fake account and not an Armenian from Turkey. We, Armenians, hear this all the time from them.
Western Armenia was and is part of Urartu/Armenian Kingdom/Armenia...no Armenian can say it was not offcially ours...He is fake...and I am not even Dashnak
Armenians don't want a piece of USA since it is not our Homeland. And all Armenians know even being occupied

I like it. Don't get me wrong: i disagree with a few things, like the diaspora/nationalists not caring about the Istanbulian Armenians, because I can tell you that as a nationalist Dashnak i care greatly about them, and I also care about the relationship we have with the Turks (be it existent or non-existent). It seems that you might have generalized this view of Armenian nationalists from some crazy fools, whom I can sadly say we have alot of. Also, despite what a few commentors said before me, I fully accept Hamshens as Armenians, whether they do themselves. I have always emphasized more on the nationality of a person and not the religion. Contrary to your statements that nationalists would not accept Muslim Armenians (which might actually be true, because of significant differences between the societies) I grew up in a Dashnak-nationalist home that embraced all Armenians, especially Hamshens, and was taught not to hate Turks since human values exceed national values.

Overall, Great Article. I hope you write a book about the Caucasian minorities within Turkey (Armenians, Hamshens, Georgians, so on) because I have always been interested in minority issues, since I live in Jerusalem, and am part of a society that the government has marginalized.

Cheers

Your last sentence is perfectly illustrative of the global bias of your paper : " Turkey’s inability to find simple answers to the Armenian problem"....

There is Armenian problem : the problem is Turkish and, hopefully, the solution will be Armenian !

OK Hagop, you are right. Us Arevmedians are not "Real" Armenians. Keep in mind, Hagopig Jan, that most of the people of the ROA are descendants of Arevmedian refugees as are the people of Javakh.

This leaves only Parskahays. Congratulations, you reduced the number of Armeians more than Talaat, Jamal and Enver.

Andranik, what is your proper, personal contribution to the improvement of the society you are part of? I understand that you live in a nationally self-defined environment where real Armenianness plays a significant role. What is your personal contribution to the blossoming of the real Armenianness you are living in? - And 2nd question is there space for other elements of society in the environment you perceive as important to your life? I mean, you are not only living in the one and only holy self-declared "real Armenian bubble" that blurred your mind when you wrote your last posting.
