A few weeks ago, on Saint Andrews Day, I asked our family geneologist if we should be celebrating our Scottish heritage. He sent me some stats which showed the mixture of Scottish, Irish, Welsh and English which make up our family background. I wish someone a generation or so back had helped to point out that these ties were important in a positive way, in the same way that your magazine does so thoughtfully. For me, I'm afraid my past all boils down to the Haggis, "Robbie" Burns, and green beer on St. Paddy's Day. Congratulations on the work you are doing for your people so that history and culture is saved. Brenda Large
