There are parts of its apparatus, the deep state, that are hostile to Armenians existing, &quot;enemies&quot; if you will.  In addition, Turkey as a nation is certainly not a friend and it certainly did not reciprocate Armenian attempts at rapprochement,  secured at great political cost, by all three independent Armenian administrations -- the last attempt being the April 2009 protocols.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[On this issue, there is an 800 pound gorilla in the room.  The interviewer need to ask Prof. Libaridian about the number of trips he took to Turkey during the LTP administration and whether any of these resulted in anything.

It is naive to assume that changing Armenian MINDSETS will lead to a change in Turkish POLICY, and as much as I respect and appreciate Dr. Libaridian, he is wrong about the possibilities with Turkey at this stage.
