Taron Gorjian, the Armenian Talking Budgie
You know, you think you’ve seen everything there is to see and along comes Taron Gorjian, the Armenian talking budgie (or parakeet to U.S audiences) and you have to wipe your slate clean and start over again, because this bird is truly amazing.
He sways from side to side, sings sweet Armenian songs in your ear and even has the audacity to tell you to come closer so he can give you a kiss. “Bachig bachig! Akh shad hamov es!” he says, which translates to “Kiss kiss, you are so tasty!” Be careful, if you take your eyes off the video, you’ll think your grandma has just popped over to shower you with some kisses.
